Bio

My name is Myr’lice’ Dickens-Morse, a fervent communicator that specializes in social media and public relations. I recently completed my B.A. in New Media and Communication accompanied by a concentration in Public Relations from Middle Georgia State University (MGA). Throughout my time, I have had the chance to advance my skills in writing and storytelling, while developing my skills in public relations, crisis management and research.

Since beginning at MGA, I have taken advantage of the opportunity granted to me to perfect my craft. I was able to work in departments and on various projects that improved my skills as a communicator. I have worked as Marketing Assistant and completed a student internship for their Marketing and Communications department. These experiences and more have allowed me to experience and learn about internal and external communication with stakeholders, writing for organizational publications, building relationships with internal and external personnel and much more.

With the completion of my B.A. Within my concentration of Public Relations, I would like to narrow that down further and specialize in Sports Media or Non-Profit Organizations. I believe that it is truly important to love what you do.
I am continuing my education at the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University. I am pursuing my M.S. in Public Relations specializing in Sports Media Communications. I hope to go into the industry upon completion of my postgraduate degree.

Apart from my love of communications and concentration in Public Relations, I turn to my love of serving and developing my communities, whether that be my academic or residential communities. I often use my skills in communications, social media and photography to contribute. In my spare time, I have reignited my passion for sewing, writing (fictionally), reading and dancing/choreographing.
